Cookie Policy
Last updated: 28 November 2025
This Cookie Policy explains how PaulieZink.com (“we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on www.pauliezink.com (“Site”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy on our CONTACT page.
At the time of this update, our Site uses only minimal, strictly necessary cookies. We do not use cookies for analytics, advertising, or marketing, and we do not run a cookie banner because we do not currently place optional cookies that require consent.
1. Who we are
This Site is operated by Paulie Zink (founder of Yin Yoga).
If you have any questions about this Cookie Policy, please contact us:
- Email: YinSourceYoga@pauliezink.com
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, tablet, phone) when you visit a website. They help websites function properly and can also be used for statistics or advertising. We use only those cookies that are needed for basic operation and security.
We may also use similar technologies such as local or session storage; for simplicity, we refer to all of these as “cookies”.
3. Our current use of cookies
As of the “Last updated” date above:
- We use strictly necessary cookies only.
- We do not use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics).
- We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.
- We do not embed Vimeo videos or social media trackers on this Site.
- We currently have no cookie banner, as we are not placing optional cookies.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are needed for the Site to work correctly and to help keep it secure. They may, for example:
- Support delivery of pages through our content management system (WordPress)
- Help protect the Site from abuse and unauthorised access
- Remember simple technical information during your visit (session)
These cookies are not used to build a profile of you or to track you across other websites.
You can block these cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the Site may not work properly if you do.
4. Third-party services (PayPal, Vimeo OTT, EmailOctopus)
Our Site may link to or use services provided by third parties. These services may use their own cookies or similar technologies on their own domains or within embedded forms/pages. We do not control how these third parties use cookies and tracking technologies.
4.1 PayPal classic buttons
We use classic PayPal “Buy Now” buttons (PayPal Payments Standard). On our Site:
- These buttons act primarily as links or basic forms that send you to PayPal to complete a payment.
- In their current form, they do not place analytics or marketing cookies on our domain.
When you leave our Site and go to PayPal’s website:
- PayPal may set its own cookies for payment processing, fraud prevention, security and user experience.
- These cookies are controlled by PayPal and are subject to PayPal’s privacy and cookie policies, not ours.
We recommend reviewing PayPal’s own privacy and cookie information if you have concerns.
4.2 Vimeo OTT subscriptions, purchases and rentals
We use Vimeo OTT to offer subscriptions and to manage purchases or rentals of our video content.
- When you click through from our Site to our Vimeo OTT pages, you are visiting a separate service operated by Vimeo (or its affiliates).
- Vimeo OTT may use cookies or similar technologies for purposes such as authentication, playback, security, analytics on its own platform, and payment processing.
- Any such cookies are set on Vimeo’s / Vimeo OTT’s domains, not on www.pauliezink.com, and are governed by Vimeo’s own privacy and cookie policies.
Our main Site does not currently embed Vimeo videos or the Vimeo OTT player, so Vimeo cookies should only be encountered when you visit their platform directly.
4.3 Email subscriptions via EmailOctopus
We use EmailOctopus to manage email subscriptions and mailing lists.
- When you subscribe to our emails, you may do so via a form on our Site or via a page hosted by EmailOctopus.
- EmailOctopus may use limited cookies or similar technologies on its own hosted forms/pages, for example to help process form submissions or prevent abuse.
- Emails sent through EmailOctopus may also contain tracking technologies (such as pixels) to understand whether an email has been opened or a link clicked. This helps us understand engagement with our mailings in aggregate.
Any cookies or tracking used by EmailOctopus are controlled by EmailOctopus and are subject to EmailOctopus’privacy and cookie policies. They are separate from the strictly necessary cookies used on www.pauliezink.com.
5. Legal basis (where relevant)
In regions where cookie consent rules apply (for example, the EEA or UK):
- Strictly necessary cookies
- We rely on our legitimate interest in providing a secure, functional website and the service you request by visiting it.
- Optional cookies
- We do not currently use analytics, marketing, or similar optional cookies on www.pauliezink.com.
- If this changes, we will update this policy and, where required, obtain your consent (for example, via a cookie banner or preference tool) before setting such cookies.
Third-party services we link to (such as PayPal, Vimeo OTT and EmailOctopus) are responsible for their own compliance and consent mechanisms on their platforms.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
You can manage cookies directly through your browser. Most browsers allow you to:
- View the cookies that are stored
- Block some or all cookies
- Delete cookies when you close the browser or at any time
Blocking all cookies may affect how our Site and other websites function.
For specific instructions, please check your browser’s help section or support website.
7. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if:
- We add new features or third-party services that use cookies, or
- Laws and guidance on cookies change.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant (for example, if we start using analytics or marketing cookies or embed additional third-party tools), we may also highlight this on the Site and introduce a cookie banner or similar tool.
8. Contact us
